Get a taste for white water rafting with an experience at the National Watersports Centre

This adrenaline-fuelled white water rafting experience is held at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham, home to the official Olympic training site. Although it's a high-adrenaline sport, you don't need any previous experience. You'll be guided by an expert instructor and so will be in very safe hands as you run the rapids for a great introduction to white water rafting.

Agenda

Arrive at the site at the appointed time for registration and be issued with a wet suit. Then it's time for a short briefing on safety, technique and what to expect. Next up is a practice run on the pools before you go down the Rapids, which increase in skill level as you progress. Your experience will last for an hour in total.

Notes

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. You are free to contact the supplier to book a date for your experience. Minimum age is 14 years and under-18s must obtain parental consent. Maximum age is 65 years. There are no height restrictions. Maximum weight is 18st/114kg. This experience is not suitable for pregnant women, those under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or those who are not physically fit to participate. A basic level of fitness is necessary and those suffering from neck/back problems or recent injuries to bones should not participate. You should be able to swim confidently. This experience is subject availability and change without notice.
