Have you ever been to the circus and thought I could do that while watching a show? Well here's your chance to find out what circus is all about at this purpose built facility. Covering everything from the flying trapeze, juggling and acrobatic balancing in a supportive and carefully controlled environment. Suitable for anyone over 14.

On arrival you will register for a free membership of The Circus Space. Your expert instructor will then show you and your group how to warm up properly to avoid damaging any muscles. Then it s over to the trapeze or perhaps the juggling balls or maybe the acrobatic mats for your first taster of the skills every budding circus performer must perfect. As you move round the activities in small groups you will be given the chance to ask the various professionals for inside tips.
Notes
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. No experience necessary. Minimum age is 14 years; under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. You must be reasonably fit to take part. The maximum number of participants will be 24. Please bear in mind that there will be a variety of age groups taking part. Spectators are welcome and will be able to see most of the action. Sessions run from 10.30am to 1.45pm or 2.30pm to 5.45pm. Dress Code is leggings or tracksuit bottoms and T shirts must be tucked into bottoms, no footwear required. This experience runs on selected dates approximately twice a month throughout the year. We recommend booking at least four weeks in advance. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time to fill out a membership form and to get changed.

My mate is into adrenalin rush experiences so I bought the half day circus skills course to give him something a bit different. He really enjoyed himself and got a right buzz out of tightrope walking. Now he keeps showing off his juggling skills. ALL the time.

I went to see Moscow State Circus with my boyfriend last year and totally fell in love with the art. I was so excited when for my birthday present he gave me this gift experience voucher to spend the afternoon training with the acrobats, jugglers etc! I had an amazing time trying the flying trapeze, tightrope walking and juggling and although I'm not going to be as good as the russian gymnasts but it was wonderful having a go.
