Love singing? Sing it loud, sing it proud with this world famous London choir
The London Community Gospel Choir have performed across the world bringing their up-tempo gospel flair, swing-beat, R 'n 'B, traditional and soulful arrangements to delighted audiences everywhere. This is your chance to learn some of the techniques used by these incredible singers before joining in a full rehearsal for a rendition of the classic 'Oh Happy Day '. On arrival at the choir 's headquarters, you will meet the choir director who will be leading your two hour singing session. As part of a group of up to ten people you will learn the words to 'Oh Happy Day ' and methods to ensure you project your voice correctly in the choir. Then it 's a short Underground journey to the rehearsal venue in Islington where you will meet the rest of the choir and join in a rendition of 'Oh Happy Day '. Your fare is not included in the package. You are welcome to ask friends and family (max four per person) to watch you sing but bear in mind this is a rehearsal not a performance and so there will be breaks in the singing.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You don’t need to be a good singer to participate in this experience, just bring your enthusiasm! This experience is suitable for anyone over the age of 18. The experience takes place on Wednesdays approximately once every three months. Your singing rehearsal takes place in a recording studio in Walthamstow. The performance takes place at a church in Islington. Travel between the two venues is easy by London Underground.
