I had an excellent day. The instructors were all very good, and the speed of the cars was amazing. I think I will be trying a Ferrari next.

I got this as a birthday present and it really does make a great gift. The cars were all great and the instructors were also very good. I have actually been before, but I found it so enjoyable that I wanted to go again. I hope to do it again for my birthday next year!

At first I thought it would be terrifying but it was simply the best afternoon ever. It was so well organised and I loved every minute of driving the single seater round the track. Highly recommended.

I just wanted to say that when you advertise the activity of Single Seater Experience, it truly was a 'great experience'. I have to admit that before the event I was very anxious as I was the only female taking part during the session. However after our briefing, I was feeling more comfortable and the staff were great at reassuring me. I would definitely do it again.

I had a fantastic morning at Brands Hatch. I got to experience the thrills of driving around one of the UK's best race tracks in 2 different cars. Firstly in a turbo-charged Megane Sport with an instructor that taught me how to drive the race line and really encouraged me to throw the car around! Then it was into the single seater on my own, and once I got used to the car it was 10 laps of sheer exhilaration. Then as a bonus I had a couple of laps as a passenger in a race prepared Megane Sport with a professional driver to show you how its really done, and boy did I have to hold on tight! A fantastic adrenaline packed morning!

I didn't know what to expect as I turned up at the Three Sisters race track in Wigan, that cold wet Saturday morning. I could smell petrol fumes and hear cars going round the track, Ferraris and Porsches being put through their paces, as I walked to reception. My briefing time was confirmed and I watched a few laps to pass the time.
The briefing was informal, friendly and useful and I was happy that I understood the rules and was able to follow them while on the track. First off was a few laps in a Mini Cooper S under the guidance of a seasoned instructor. I felt in very capable hands and he gave me lots of advice and urged me to go faster and follow cleaner driving lines to get the best out of the car and the track. I was then given a note with the instructor's comments and assessment of my skills which, unbeknownst to me at the time, would be used to place us in order behind the pace car while in the single-seater- and I'd won pole position.
After being shoe-horned into the racecar (I'm 6' 2", but was comfortable when in properly), the safety guy gave me a few insider tips while he tightened the harness straps. Then it was time to head on out to the track.
Once we were out on the track, the pace car driver would stay just enough in front to let us go fast while close enough to keep us safe through the tight corners. Speaking of which, the wet track and my lead foot helped me spin out on a hairpin bend. Once I was put the right way round, I let rip. Unconstrained by the pace car I felt I was going much faster and began to catch people up.
Overtaking was allowed by the stewards when they saw you were faster than the car in front, and everyone knew to move over and indicate the side on which you could pass, which made things very easy and safe. I overtook other single-seaters, a couple of Minis and even a Lotus.
All too soon the chequered flag was waved and I headed for the pits. Back at de-briefing I was given my certificate and filled in a f
