Learn curry cookery with the master - a great introduction to this spicy favourite.
Celebrity chef and founder of The Curry Club, Pat Chapman, takes you on a whistle-stop tour of the curry basics in this three hour demonstration. Showing the classics Tikka Masala, Prawn Jalfrezi and including other side dishes, there is not a supermarket jar in sight as you learn the art of mixing your own spices and flavourings. Pat will ask for volunteers from the group to help cook and you will receive a pot of sauce of one of the dishes to take home.

After a welcoming soft drink, chef Pat Chapman shows the spices and flavourings required to make curry and will call for volunteers to help cook and demonstrate the main courses such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Jalfrezi, and Bombay Potato. Pat will also make Bhajis and Vegetable Samosas with Chutneys which you will get to sample. At the end of the course you will get to sample all of the dishes demonstrated and take home a choice of Korma, Tikka Masala, Madras or Jalfrezi sauce giving you the opportunity to show off your cooking skills to friends and family. Please advise when booking if you are a vegetarian.
Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for a minimum of ten months. No previous experience necessary. The course is held in a large, modern airy venue near Haslemere, ample parking facilities are available. The classes start at 9.30am prompt and conclude at approx 12.30pm. The course is for a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 20. The course must achieve the minimum number of participants, if dates are re -scheduled you will be given 30 days warning or the opportunity to attend another date or receive a full refund. A vegetarian option is available and should be requested at time of booking.

This was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning, in the company of the incredible chef Pat Chapman. We learnt some really delicious recipes for curries and indian food and got to taste as we went along. It was good that we got to take a pot of sauce home too.
