We stayed at the Noel Arms in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds for our Country Escape one night break. We are quite familiar with the area and had seen the hotel from the outside on many occasions. Upon our arrival we were shown to our room to find we had been upgraded to the Four Poster room. This was a nice bonus and the room looked out onto the main street with the honey coloured stone buildings and ancient butter market. The room and hotel itself is steeped in history and the quirky uneven floors and higgledy piggledy nature of the place added to its charm. We enjoyed a full English breakfast the following morning and the Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant and bar, also a tea shop selling a variety of cakes but we didn't sample those during our stay. There is a large car park to the rear and a conservatory and patio area for use in better weather. We can recommend this break for a peaceful, relaxing stay in a beautiful Cotswolds town.
