Escape from the world for a two night retreat to revive your spirit and reconnect to nature, your loved one and yourself. Find space to unwind, with a gentle and relaxing holistic therapy and twilight meditation session, all in a breathtaking location in the Welsh Mountains. Included is a visit to the fascinating Centre for Alternative Technology to learn about how to live in harmony with the environment. Your accommodation is in a beautiful and spacious 21 foot diameter tipi, lovingly furnished with everything you need – a wood burning chimney fire, double bed with organic linen, fluffy sheepskin rugs, plush cushions and an organic welcome hamper. Surrounded by miles of open space, enjoy forest and mountain walks, relax by streams or just snuggle down by the cosy fire.
You are asked to arrive between around 4 and 5pm at the Eco Retreats site where you will be greeted by your host and introduced to the Tipi which will be your home during your two night stay – nestle down and relax in your comfortable tipi. Your food hamper contains everything you need to start up: pasta, pasta sauce, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, salt & pepper and a bottle of wine. The following day you will both receive a Reiki healing session in your Tipi, and in the evening you will take part in a twilight meditation session. The rest of your time can be spent at your leisure in the surrounding countryside. You will also receive complimentary tickets for the Centre for Alternative Technology to learn more about sustainable solutions to environmental problems – you are free to visit whenever you choose. Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book a date your experience. Bookings are normally for Monday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Friday or Friday-Sunday. Availability is from April until October, and this experience includes two nights accommodation in a Tipi. The minimum age is 18. Each Tipi is heated with a wood-burning stove and has 24hr call out emergency facilities, as well as its own washing and toilet unit located nearby. Pets cannot be accommodated. Safe parking is available on site. Inside each Tipi there is helpful information on walks and local restaurants. You will need to take supplies with you as this experience is totally self-catered.

I booked this eco retreat for me and my boyfriend for an unusual short break we werent sure what to expect but it was actually a really great experience. The area is beautiful and staying in a tipi you really appreciate being in the countryside kind of like camping but with more creature comforts.

I am very interested in all ecologial issues and saw this eco retreat as a great opportunity to introduce them to my girlfriend. I had neevr been to the Welsh mountains before they are breathtaking. A thoruoghly enjoyable couple of days.
