Your cabin will become your own private haven; a wooden retreat nestled in the trees with views of the beautiful Lake Dacre. Your stay includes one night’s accommodation in your cabin, complete with an outdoor dining area perfect for barbecues and picnics. Also the on-site bar/clubhouse is never far away and is the perfect place to let your hair down! For the more active individuals the Lake becomes a melting pot of water-based activity and offers a wide range to things do that includes fishing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and now WaterWalkerz. The Hainsworth Park Gold Club is a short walk away and there are tennis courts nearby. for his birthday i bought my husband a night glamping in a little wooden pod at lake dacre. i didnt tell him til the morning we were going after i had dropped littleun at the grandparents and packed the car. when we got there it was so beautiful despite the dull sky and the wind.
we just did nothing, he did a bit of fishing and we enjoyed a meal at the local pub. i had forgotten how quiet it is without a 16 month always with us.
since weve come back and shown pictures we have had people wanting to know where it was and we are also looking into getting a few of us together to each hire a pod for a fun weekend with hopefully a bit nicer weather.
