brilliant time
Hotel was excellant staff were great and very informative. Food lovely but can be a bit expensive. Bucklers Hard is in a beautiful part of the new forest, with Beaulieu village and motor museum down the road. We would love to go back to the Master Builders Hotel.

Looked nice online, disappointing in reality
Nice location, but we ended up in the 'new wing' of the hotel where our very average room directly overlooked the gravel car park (and nothing else). So every time a car pulled in or pulled out - it was very noisy. The bed was big and comfortable and was the best feature of the room.
We had dinner in the restaurant where the food was lovely and the service very good. We had a nice drink in the beer garden, overlooking the water as the sun went down.
We were only there one night - and to be honest we wouldn't return based on the very poor position of our room.
