This gift was a present for valentines day for my husband but I was genuinely disappointed on arrival but have waited today to give him it to see his reaction. As I thought he was highly unimpressed as this gift does not actually give you HISTORY it refers you to sites to go searching for information but gives you maps and an aerial photo from google earth!. It is generalised and there is more history at Land Registry than in this book. There is no work gone into this gift at all! Sadly disappointed customer.

My House History' was so fascinating! Seeing my house as it was back in Victorian times compared to the ordnance survey maps from today was brilliant! The OS maps were really detailed too. The best bit was the aerial photograph of my street. Love the whole thing including the presentation in that lovely folder. A perfect gift for anyone whose even a little bit houseproud!

As personalised gifts go I thought this was fairly unique! My dad absolutely loved spotting his house in the aerial photograph and the maps the Victorian map was brilliant! He shows everyone who comes round the house now! It's his pride and joy!
