An opportunity to try out the sensation of a helicopter flight and to take the controls.
Normally reserved for the rich and famous, this is your chance to get a taste of the high life in this 30 minute experience. You are free to either sit back and enjoy the ride, or if you would rather, you can use your 30 minutes as a trial lesson. Trial lessons are the ideal way to start that journey towards your helicopter licence, you can even take the controls during your first flight!

Agenda
After arrival at the helicentre your lesson commences with a pre-flight briefing. You will then discuss and plan a flight path of your choice with your own personal instructor, and then it’s time for take off!!
Your instructor will demonstrate forward flight, the art of hovering and the unique maneuverability of a helicopter before you will be given a chance to do some hands on flying of your own.
At some locations you will be are presented with a commemorative certificate.
Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. Your weight must not exceed 17 stone and your height must not exceed 6ft 4inches.
Larger helicopters are available at extra cost payable directly on when booking.
Tuition is usually in a Robinson R22 Beta.
Actual flying time is around 25 mins.
All training helicopters have dual controls so the instructor can safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft. All flight time counts towards a helicopter licence should you decide to continue training.

This experience was a 60th birthday present from my husband and it's something I have always wanted to do. The flight was amazing. I was taken all over Coventry where I live, over the city, looking at all the high rise buildings, and over the catherdral and castle and the pilot even took us to hover over my house! As soon as we landed I asked "When can I do it again?!". If you want to have a helicopter ride you should just do it, it's an amazing experience, I can't wait to have another go!
