A totally relaxing and enjoyable afternoon tea in a lovely venue . The quality and quantity of the food matched what you come to expect from a Hotel of this reputation. The service and attention from the staff was terrific. Would definitely go back there

Afternoon tea at The Langham

Excellent afternoon out. Although styled afternoon tea, it can start as early as noon and is essentially 4 courses, finger sandwiches, savoury scone, pastries, cream scones plus a chocolate cake and large selection of teas. Only 4 days a week (not Mon-Wed), lovely Palm Court thought no outside view. Food really superb, service impeccable but not intrusive. Great for a special event. Only downside is that the excellent live pianist is a bit loud for quiet conversation if you are at a table close to the piano.

You will simply not find a better afternoon tea than this. People often talk about world class service - well the bar has just been set higher. The whole experience incredible - the food (cakes) something else - never tasted cake that melts in your mouth with explosions of flavour. There are not enough stars for this!

The service was exceptional. The food was outstanding. You could choose from 30 teas and have the option of coffee or fruit juice if you preferred. They even gave you a cake to take home.

Brilliant Afternoon tea experience

It was on of the best days out. It was given to me as a birthday present last year. So I decided to use it as a valentines celebration for myself and my wife. We had a fantastic time the decor was lovely -the staff lovely and service superb. The sandwiches- pastries-scones-cream-jams and tea where of the highest quality and you could eat as much as you want. It was just perfect.
