Little Oasis
15 May 2021
Absolutely loved this place - will be booking again later today - a little oasis of calm hidden amongst the countryside. Lovely looking pods surrounding a circle for children to play safely. Clean facilities, plenty of hot water out side for washing and a campsite shop who will go the extra mile and all with a smile and can do attitude. There is also a small walk around the fishing lake together with the farm animals. Left leaving at peace with the world and totally grounded. Thank you soooooo much

Snug pod, great fire pit, handy location, lovely surroundings. Only downer was a bit of noise and quite a bit of litter ... not the sites fault at all.

Nice break

My partner and I had a lovely nights stay. My husband spent the afternoon fly fishing and I relaxed in the sun outside our pod. This is back to basics, the pod has two beds and that’s it. No electricity just a battery power lamp. Just what we needed. Can charge phones in the main cabin and use of fridges, plates, cups, microwave. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Has 3 shower 3 toilet block. We visited the Indian that was lovely at the top of the road to eat. You can use the bbqs on camp though. Every pod has a fire pit and it was great relaxing with the fire on toasting marshmallows. We passed round what we couldn’t finish ?? There is a noise cut off at 9.30 and an 11.00 cerfew. We met 2 lovely families, one a couple and one a family of 5. Everyone was so friendly. Alex the manager was very helpful on arrival and gave you all the information you need for your stay.

A great twist on camping
16 August 2017
The pods look great and each comes with a fire pit and a BBQ, with wood available to buy on site (but you need your own charcoal for the BBQs). The pods are quite basic, each just containing a coat hook and two single beds, but that's really all you need. On site there's also a lodge that has a communal kitchen and living room, as well as a few toilets and showers, but there's also a couple of portaloos closer to the pods so you don't have to walk as far in the middle of the night! There were no staff there when we arrived, just a note telling you which Pod was yours and another explaining how to pay for firewood, but unless you have any issues I don't suppose this would be a problem. The pods were well spaced, and although it was busy we weren't disturbed by our neighbours. We also walked to the Eagle and Child in Weeton (which was very nice), but it was a long walk down what was a nice country lane at first but the last half-mile or so was quite a busy road with no pavement.
