The perfect gift for all wine enthusiasts! This Saturday course has been specially geared to broaden your knowledge of the world of wine, boost your confidence and most importantly increase your enjoyment of wine. You will learn the basics of wine tasting, join in discussions about the making of wine, and the art of matching food with wine among other inspirational topics. Sample at least 14 different wines during the course of your day.

On arrival at the venue you will be met by your wine specialist for the duration of your experience. You will taste 14 different wines in total, take part in in-depth discussion about basic tasting techniques, the art of winemaking, wine 's ability to age, reading wine labels, wine as an investment, serving wine as well as matching food with wine. Your experience will last for 6 hours in total.
Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. All participants must be at least 18 years and above. Tasting glasses, water, biscuits and notes will be provided. Your experience starts at 11am and finishes at 5pm with an hour for lunch. Please note that lunch is not included in the price. There will be a maximum of 18 participants on your experience. The experience takes place on one Saturday per month (excluding July and August).

The tour guide on our wine tasting course was fantastic, a real expert in his field...or should that be vineyard(!) Anyway, our whole experience was extremely informative, especially the bit about matching wine to food, useful for dinner parties! We tasted over a dozen wines over the day, all delicious.

This weekend we went on the One Day Basic Wine Course. We really enjoyed ourselves learning from the expert and getting to taste 14 different wines. I always assumed wine tastings were just about getting to drink lots of wine but it was actually really interesting having the opportunity to really learn about wine too. We would give this experience 10 out of 10. It is a real value for money full day out.
