Two Night Camping Break at Langstone Manor
Glamping at Langstone Manor, courtesy of friends
Had a two night stay in a camping "pod": a small wooden cabin, very new and with lovely pine smell! Pod was warm and comfortable (carpeted, with electricity and heating if you need it). Campsite facilities were excellent and spotless. The owners were very friendly and we had complimentary croissants for breakfast on one of the mornings. The site is in the Dartmoor National Park, so you can walk from the site and enjoy the lovely scenery. We would definitely use a "pod" again, as it suits a range of weather and times of year.

My partner and I were given this experience as a Christmas present, and it proved to be the best gift ever! We booked in at Langstone Manor in Tavistock for the Easter weekend (I was surprised we could use the voucher at such a peak time, but it was valid for any date). The pod was perfectly clean and in an excellent location. The whole campsite was brilliant - excellent shower blocks, great food and welcoming staff. If you like the idea of camping, but don't like the cold/wet/dirty side of it, then this will be perfect for you. The pod had heating which was amazing, lighting, and electricity so we could charge our cameras (which is needed!) and watch films at bedtime. We took our dog, who was welcomed in all parts of the campsite, and all three of us had the most enjoyable time ever. We will definitely be buying this experience as a gift for other people, and will even use it again ourselves.

Great gift idea
The glamping gift was a fab idea as we're used to camping. This wasn't our first choice of site but we're really glad our first choice could not accommodate our dates! Langstone Manor is a small campsite and is really big on recycling and environmental issues. This is by far the cleanest campsite we have ever stayed at and because of that it seemed all campers made a big effort to support the campsites aims.
