Sunday Night Break with Dinner at The Dial House Hotel
A little gem
Bought a voucher for an overnight stay with a 3 course meal and breakfast at the dial house hotel in bourton on the water. The dial house informed us that they no longer served evening meals but we were welcome to visit stay and eat if we preferred at their sister hotel The Grapevine. We decided to still stay at the dial house but eat at the grapevine. We arrived at the dial house and were shown to our room which was room 11 the garden room which boasts its own private garden, the room was nicely decorated and the furnishings were good. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was excellent. We then went to the grapevine for our evening meal at 7.30pm which is only about 3miles away and we were happy to drive there ourselves. the service and the hotel were both excellent and I must say the food was outstanding with the exception of the cheese board which was disappointing (tiny amounts) however this aside the experience was well worth the money and the staff at both hotels (dial house and grapevine) were very attentive. I would definitely stay again and most definitely eat at the grapevine.
