Two Night Break at the Wild Pheasant Hotel
As it was a special occasion we up-graded our voucher to a very spacious room with kingsize bed and luxury bathroom. The Hotel is situated a few minutes out of town but there is a lovely riverside walk to be discovered which takes you into the heart of the little town of Llangollen with its quaint shops and pubs - all surrounded by the beautiful Welsh hills. Plenty to do including canal boat rides led by shire horses and steam train rides through the fabulous Dee valley, with waterfalls and the rocky river.
The food at the hotel was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Its a must to use the hydrotherapy pool, which is spacious and has very warm water with lots of jet massagers etc.
