Two Night Break at The George Hotel
Great value gift
The voucher provides versatility and good Hotel choices. We stayed at the George in Shipston on Stour with 6 other family members. The hotel seved as a superb base for our trip to a lovely area. The staff in the Hotel were extremely accommodating and cooperative. They made us very welcome. The Hotel was comfortable but slightly worn in places. Nice bathrooms and general decor but some rooms were a bit small, its worth paying a little extra for a bigger room.

Great Break in the Cotswolds
Loved this hotel, quirky, but very comfortable. Lots of steps and sloping floors, but bed was roomy and comfortable and we had nice bathroom. We stayed in Asparagus room which overlooked the Main Street. Coop across the road opens early, and there were noisy deliveries. Did not bother us, but if you like a lie in, ask for room at back. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast plentiful, and overall, very good value for money. Shipston on Stoor is a nice little place, and central for all the pretty Cotswold villages. Would stay here again

Not a hotel a pub
Do not consider this to be a hotel but a pub letting rooms. Was shown into nice room, until we looked up to ceiling, it was cracked with rust stains showing.
First nights dinner ,blade of beef was lovely, had problem with wrong starters but this was deducted from bill. second night we opted for their special fish and chips and bottle of wine...what a mistake. Fish was obviously frozen, batter was hard and smooth on outside, raw in middle and the most minute piece of fish which was obviously not haddock as stated, the chips were not chips but large potato wedges, and a teaspoon of pea puree! Not something we want to experience again!
