Microlights are superbly manoeuvrable crafts and this 20-30 minute flight is a fantastic way to be introduced to them; see the world from a bird’s eye view as your skilled instructor guides the microlight through the sky. If the instructor feels that you are up to it, they may even pass the controls to you, so be prepared to become a pilot for the day! Sit back, enjoy the ride and let your imagination run away with you as you glide above the surrounding countryside.
Upon arrival at the aerodrome you will be given a briefing on the principles of microlight flying. From there you'll be taken to the microlight for a general familiarisation of the aircraft's layout and a rundown of the controls. After this it’s up, up and away for a 20 - 30 minute flight of a lifetime! If the instructor feels confident that their new student is ready, they will even be able to take the controls and get the thrill of piloting the aircraft. Facilities and microlights will vary between locations and the images used here are a guide only.
