Overview
Climbing natural rock is the ultimate outdoor adventure – helping to really connect you with the elements in a thrilling and challenging way! This unique day will teach you all the basics of this exciting sport, including belaying and knots, climbing etiquette, techniques and safety considerations. You will be bouldering and climbing on Sussex sandstone in the morning, putting your new skills to the test, before heading off to a purpose-built abseil tower in the afternoon. This 30-foot structure will allow you to quickly learn how to abseil and build confidence in your rope and belay partner. You'll even get to try it blindfolded if you need more of an adrenaline boost!

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- The experience operates on selected dates between March–October
- Minimum age is 18 years and the weight limit is 19 stone
- All participants must be in reasonable health and able-bodied
- There will be a maximum of 12 climbers per session
- Participants are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and all specialist clothing and equipment will be supplied on the day
- You will be fully supervised by an instructor throughout the day
- This experience will last for approximately seven hours, including briefing time and the issuing of safety equipment
- All dates are subject to availability

Climbing and Abseiling - great fun!

I had the Climbing and Abseiling Experience yesterday. I just wanted to say that, despite the awful weather, I had a fantastic time. James and Adam, our instructors were great! Patient, humorous and confidence inspiring! I have never done either climbing or abseiling before and really felt in good hands.

I loved the whole experience. The climbing experience was both challenging and fun, I really enjoyed the day and the instructors were great. I would thoroughly recommend it.

As an introduction to abseiling and climbing your experience is superb. Teacher spent time with me discussing what I wanted to achvie and nobody pushed me to climb higher or abseil faster. Saw some people abseiling with blindfolds on. Thought they were insane.
