Overview
If you are new to shooting or thinking of taking it up, there is no better introduction than this shotgun skills course. This is the only clay pigeon shooting experience recognised by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA). A three-hour course that takes you through the basics from using and maintaining a shotgun, to Shotgun Licences, to safety and how to use it effectively to hit moving clay targets. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate, issued by the CPSA, as well as a cloth badge stating that you have completed the course. The shotgun skills course offers the beginner or novice a fantastic insight and foundational knowledge that they will find invaluable.

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- This experience is only available on Wednesdays
- The course should last approximately three hours
- You are advised to arrive at the venue around twenty minutes before your allocated time
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Anyone under 16 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult
- As the venue has wheelchair access, disabled participants are welcome (please advise details at the point of booking)
- Minimum height is 4'0"
- You should be in reasonable physical shape to take part
- Please dress according to the weather. Warm layers that allow free movement are recommended
- There are safe areas for spectators who are also welcome in the clubhouse and adjoining patio
- Pets are not permitted on-site for safety reasons
- Food is not included, but there is a restaurant and bar on site serving light snacks and meals
- All dates are subject to availability

A must for all who want to try shooting

From the moment we arrived to the time we left nothing was to much bother. When we arrived we went to the reception and was meet with a smile and ask if we wanted a tea or coffee before the experience was due to start .There was 4 of us who was on the experience but all of us had our partners with us and there was no problems with that and they was encouraged to ask questions if they didn't understand anything. The safety side was explained well and easy to understand . When we went out too shot at the clay pigeon's the instructor was excellent and all understood what to do. The instructor did really well as all of us hit some of the clay pigeon's. At the end of the shooting there was a short de brief and all of us had a certificate . My partner said even though she didn't think she would like shooting the hole experience was really good
