Great guides in a lovely setting. The crossbow wasn’t possible but a fun alternative was provided instead (learning how to safely prepare and discharge a proper gun, using blanks of course)

Brought for my sons Christmas present, we had a great day, helped by the sunny weather. The instructors were really knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. Would recommend to anyone who wanted a day out shooting air rifles, firing cross bows and throwing axes!

The Spy Game was for my grandson's birthday. We both enjoyed all the activities, although a poorly sited rifle spoiled his sniper experience (and mine). The competitions were a good idea helping to bring our group together. Staff were excellent, in particular James who had a good sense of humour. It was a rainy day, and cold, and for part of our activities this proved somewhat uncomfortable - indoor facilities would have considerably increased the pleasure of the experience.

Very easy to book over the phone. Poor availability of dates - only runs one day per month and does not run over the winter months so can be hard to use the voucher before the expiry date. Good selection of interesting activities. Good instructors. Group sizes slightly too big to ensure everyone gets a good go at everything and unfortunately they kept running out of arrows for crossbow so not everyone got a second go as planned. Overall a good, interesting activity. Good alternative gift!

Arrived in time, friendly reception and guided me to the catering stand. Around 50 people attending, split into 2 groups, first did the crossbow then axe throwing. Crossbow excellent, but felt too many of us & needed more time to be able to really enjoy this. Axe throwing Ok,. Then onto pistol drawing, bit boring as just did a few draws, ended up waiting around to then go onto Sniper shooting. Again 12 of us on this, my rifle was not working properly, I was told it was but those around me verified that it was not as they could not see out of the telescopic part either. I felt a little let down as this was the one event I was looking forward to. Then we were asked to go back to the main area for some body combat, what followed was laughable & frustrating, a lot of people started queuing for a burger, chips, teas & coffees, surely this is bought after the body combat, the organisers just stood around before finally giving into peoples demands that we should be getting on with this. Body combat could & should have been a lot better, no mats on floor to actually get something out of what we were being told. Then did disarming someone with a knife, this seemed to take ages & again due to the numbers we didnt get the time to see if we were doing it properly. Overall I would not waste your money on this as it sounds really good but in reality they have to many people & to me want people to buy food & drink which is where they make their extra money on the day (I do get that but surely you tell people that the food is to be bought before & after the activities) as we would have finished at least half hour before we did. A truly disappointing experience that could & should have been a lot better

Great friendly and helpful staff, whole day ran very smoothly which made the day very enjoyable. Most enjoyed the Sniper Shooting part!

Had a really great time at the spy academy, particularly enjoyed the rifle shooting and cross bow. The instructors were really good and very knowledgeable, think maybe could have done with 2 instructors on the hand to hand combat as it was a quite a large group and took the instructor a while to get around everyone. But overall a really fun day had!

I was given this as a 40th Birthday present. It was a great experience, I had never shot a rifle or cross bow but the instructors gave good clear instructions which made it safe and fun. There were 8 people in our team which made it a little competitive which I enjoyed. Would highly recommend this experience.

Really enjoyed the experience but did not like the crossbow instructor he did not assist us. All the other instructors were very good including our favourite: unarmed combat instructor.
