The keepers were really friendly and experienced, the meerkats we super cute and cuddly

This was a one hour meerkat experience. It was very well organised and we couldn’t believe how close we were able to get to the little creatures. They were scampering all over us and feeding from our hands. We also could have a look around the rest of Hoo farm. An interesting selection of animals, loved the wild cats and the lemurs. Only criticism was that loud Christmas music was continually blasting out around the park. This was totally unnecessary, we would have preferred to be able to hear the animals. We went as an adult couple but it looked like there was plenty of thing to keep young children entertained. I would recommend a visit

We went on the meerkat experience which was lovely and hands on, it was 3 children and one adult. You did 3 rotation, with different meerkats, inside and then outside. However 3rd we were unable to do so we had 20minutes with the lemurs, this was hilarious. All staff so friendly and helpful. We were worried before going due to torrential rain , luckily it stopped and was perfect. It is a great place. Lots to do,loads of animals to pet and feed. Also a great dinosaur trail with life-size animals. Tea room good value. Well worth a trip.

The experience surpassed all expectations. We were able to interact with the merkats and ask questions, take pics etc. Worth every penny.

So, they split you into small groups, there was myself and my son and one other family. You then go into three separate buildings and spend 20 minutes in each room feeding different groups of Meerkats. The lady that led us through each room was very knowledgeable and warming and we chatted and fed the Meerkats. It was a really fantastic time and my son hasn't stopped grinning. We loved it!

Would definitely recommend this experience. It is cheaper from Buy a Gift than actually booking from the venue. Great day out!

What a lovely little zoo with a good variety of animals. The experience was well organised and the guide was very informative. Was great to be able to be so close to the Meerkats, stroke and feed them. Even better when they sit on your lap and run over your legs!

Brought this experience as a gift for my Mom’s birthday. We both had the best afternoon meeting the meerkats who were adorable! Our zookeeper was brilliant and full of fun and interesting facts. We would definitely recommend this experience at Hoo Zoo. Great day out and good value for money.

I was brought this experience for Christmas off a relative. We had a fab family day out at Hoo Farm. Would recommend this experience to anyone.
