Entry to Mother Shipton's Cave for Two Adults and Three Children 11892742
Overview
Mother Shipton's Cave in Knaresborough is one of the oldest attractions in England. Uncover the legend of the famous prophetess. Born in the cave in 1488, Mother Shipton, known at the time as Ursula Sontheil, lived in the cave with her mother before she was adopted and brought up by a local family. Explore The Petrifying Well where ordinary objects are transformed into stone. A small teddy bear will only take a few months to petrify! During your visit, you can also make a wish at The Wishing Well and visit the museum, where various celebrities and TV shows have donated petrified items, including a shoe left in 1923 by Queen Mary. Treat the kids to an unforgettable family day out!
