Overview
The Northern Belle is a nostalgic trip back in time. Each carriage has its own name and decorative style. Staff will be ready and waiting to lead you to your comfortable chair, so you can begin this leisurely four-hour journey. Simply sit back and relax, take in the scenery and enjoy the musicians who will wander up and down the carriages providing the perfect soundtrack to your trip. A table magician will be onboard to entertain, and you can tuck into a delicious afternoon tea. Enjoy a traditional British afternoon tea, including Champagne and a host of tasty surprises!

- A luxurious four-hour round trip on the elegant Northern Belle
- A traditional afternoon tea, consisting of a savoury trio course, a selection of hand cut sandwiches, cakes, fancies, sweet treats, fruit scones with clotted cream and jam and strawberries and cream
- Fortnum & Masons Royal Blend tea and Northern Belle blend coffee
- Includes half a bottle of Champagne

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- This experience is valid for one person
- Available selected Saturdays and Sundays April–October
- Vegan, vegetarian and dairy free menu on request
- The Northern Belle is a touring train and visits several cities in the UK to operate afternoon tea excursions
- You maybe required to travel to the next nearest departure date/point if demand is high for your region
- Minimum age is 18 years for alcohol service. Children will received free flow soft drinks in lieu
- While disabled passengers can be accommodated to some extent, it is not possible for someone to board in a wheelchair. Staff will be available to assist passengers to their seats and folding wheelchairs can be stored during the journey
- This voucher is only valid for dates in the schedule that match its value and therefore you may need to look further ahead for a date of equal value. If you wish to travel on a date that does not correspond with your voucher, you may pay a supplementary fee. Please enquire upon booking to establish a list of available dates
- Seating is provided for couples, side by side on a table of four
- Single passengers may find they are sharing
- It is possible to book a private table of two at the time of voucher activation. This will incur a supplement to the standard tickets
- We regret this cannot be booked in advance as it is subject to space at time of voucher activation
- Forward facing travel can be requested but not guaranteed unless a table of two upgrade is added
- Due to the exclusive nature of this product availability is limited and you are advised to make your booking early to avoid disappointment
- Dress code is smart casual (no jeans or trainers)
- Please make your requirements for dietary requirements and allergies known to the Northern Belle reservations team at time of voucher activation
- When the activation is made no refunds can be made
- All dates are subject to availability

a seventy bithday

Nervously I arrived on my own for my birthday present from my daughter but was soon enjoying being part of the group of four who were seated opposite me. They included me in their drinks, we exchanged photos
and we have arranged to meet on a future trip. I came away after enjoying some wonderful food and champagne with four new friends
