Fantastic experience in a wonderful setting

We had such a fabulous time, a private tour of the kitchen garden with a very knowledgeable lady called Emma. She told us all about the fruit and vegetables being grown, what dishes they might be used for in the hotel, as well us letting us taste some of the produce. She gave us some useful tips for growing our own produce then finally she gave us one of the plants for our own garden. We then had the most sumptuous 3 course lunch and it rounded off the morning perfectly. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys their garden and enjoys a good lunch ??

We enjoyed the kitchen garden tour, conducted by a very pleasant young lady who really knew her onions! The lunch overall was disappointing - both my wife and I ordered fish and chips and I requested a lightly battered fish. When the meal came the chips turned out to be French fries and my fish looked and tasted like it had been cooked twice, not nice at all. I think if I had had to pay £22 for it I would have refused! I should have taken a picture of it.
