You will be part of a lucky group with the opportunity to handle and fly these wonderful creatures. You’ll learn all about the habitats of both the falcon and the hawk before you have the opportunity to handle the birds yourself. Very nice day out learning about falconry and flying birds of prey and owls. The day was fun but also very informative and the rain didnt dampen the spirits! Overall really glad we did it, it was great to learn about the different birds and the falconers were very knowledgeable and helpful

I have always adored birds of prey and on my retirement my work colleagues surprised me with this day out at the Falconry School. The day was an absolute delight. The day started on time with a guided tour around all the birds as they sat on their "perches" seemingly waiting to be chosen to display their own particular brilliance in the air. John and Dan were extremely knowledgeable and knew all the individual characteristics of the wide spectrum of birds on display. The venue was remote enough so the birds were never in danger when in flight and we were given a remarkable display of hawks, falcons, an eagle and some owls as they flew in and around the visitors making it truly memorable experience. I may book a day for myself next year in the summer. Brilliant.
