Overview
Get up close and personal with some of the world's most beautiful and fearsome feline predators with this ranger experience. Meet lions, tigers, cheetahs, snow leopards and Amur leopards as you assist the park rangers with feeding and cleaning these magnificent beasts. You'll also have the opportunity to get some amazing photos, too. The day will start with a safety briefing, which is essential when it comes to working with some of the world's top predators! You'll learn about the amazing work The Big Cat Sanctuary is doing with an insightful presentation, before heading out to meet the cats and help the keepers with their daily tasks. A light buffet lunch is also provided to complete a perfect day.

What do I need to know?
- All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available Monday–Friday, year round
- Lunch is at 12.30pm and departure is at 3.30pm
- Minimum age: 18 years
- The experience is expected to last approximately six hours
- You are able to bring up to one extra person with you – either as a guest for a suggested donation of £100 or as a participant at the cost of £175
- The program of the day may vary according to weather conditions and requirements of the site
- The site is accessible to all, however in very wet weather, grass surfaces may not be suitable for wheelchair users
- This is an outdoor experience – please be sure to wear appropriate clothing and bring suitable footwear (wellingtons or walking shoes)
- Please avoid wearing open-toed shoes, loose jewellery and scarves
- Women in the early stages of pregnancy are advised to consult their doctor or midwife before booking

Wonderful experience.

What a wonderful day. Learnt so many things about big cats, but also the work of the sanctuary and its staff. The two wardens that I had were very friendly and knowledgeable. From the welcome I had, the front of house team, the lunchtime buffet, made all the more enjoyable. I will admit it was tiring for me, it made me appreciate how hard the wardens worked.

I don’t believe you could get the quality of experience with access to such brilliant cats anywhere in the world. The knowledge of the teams was excellent and the cats were breathtaking! A truly memorable experience that can be cherished forever.

Ranger for the day. Great to be up close with the big cats seeing behind the scenes and helping to muck out with giant pooper scoop preparing their feed and getting to hide it. Lunch was good and shout out to amazing rangers Hannah & James for their insightful knowledge. Great experience never to be forgotten. Thank you big cat sanctuary

Such an amazing experience, the keeper I was with was passionate about his work and the animals, was full of information. The animals are happy and treated brilliantly. Hand feeding the tigers was incredible and going into the cheetah enclosure was the best day of my life. Would strongly recommend this to anyone as the centre is completely charity based and the money is vital to ensure it stays open. If you love animals then don't hesitate just do it :)
