Overview
Now is your chance to learn to drive a real rally car, just like the professionals, with this fantastic introductory half-day session. Throughout your three-hour experience, you will receive expert coaching from a professionally trained instructor who will teach you the skills and techniques needed. After a quick safety briefing, it’s straight out to the car for some hands on instruction. You'll start with a practice lap around the course at moderate pace to get used to the feel of the vehicle, followed by your first full throttle session, where your instructor will encourage you to pick up speed. After lunch (available to buy on site) you will learn about pace notes and then adapt your own to have read back to you by the instructors. The day will end in our instructors putting you through your paces calling out random routes to take you through the stage simulating what it is like on real rally stage.

- You are welcome to bring spectators at no extra charge; however, all will need to be over 8 years old

My husband really enjoyed himself. The taught him how to handbreak turn and skid round corners, but they was a lot of waiting around. He was part of a group of 11 people, which got split into 2 groups as there was 2 cars. Each person took turns in the car hence having to wait around. They shown you the skills in 3 sperate turns in the car, and my husband said it would of been better doing it all in one go say for 30 mins then there was not so much waiting in between as all you want to do is drive the car. The service and knowledge of the guys was great and they helped you out and try to make you understand what went wrong if mistakes are made. It was a good experience and one to tick off the list.

Fantastic gift. Very well organised by GywnneSpeed at Cirencester. Good track and plenty of space to slide off if you need it! Forget everything you know about driving, leave it in the car park. This is a unique way of driving and you learn new techniques of sliding, using the handbrake and power into and out of corners. Fascinating sport and this half day is a great insight into it!

Went on Saturday as my boyfriends birthday present, the team were so welcoming and professional throughout the afternoon. Lots of time spent in the car and the time trials against the other participants is a great idea! Yes it is expensive but money very well spent, highly recommended :)

This was a really well run event. It was efficient and safe but I didn't feel as though we were being constrained or held back at any time, which added to the fun. The instructors were very friendly and encouraging. Two rally cars which had been adapted for disabled drivers were being trialled at the same time and one of the drivers beat most of us that weren't limited to hand controls!

This wasnt what i was expecting, The day only lasted 3hours and I was in the car 3 times at about 3 mins a time totalling 14 laps , the rally driving was going round a gravel, tyre laid circut with some sharp bends, i was expecting a proper rally experience, i can saddly say it was not the perfect gift and i would not reccomend someone paying £185.00 for this day, sorry

We do advise on the website prior to purchase that the experience only lasts 3 hours and you get at least two sessions on the track and your competitive lap, I am sorry if this was not known.

Always fancied doing this. The weather was terrible but it didn't dampen our spirits. Whilst we couldn't get high speeds because of the weather conditions, we had great fun sliding around, skidding and creating mud sprays.
The staff were really friendly encouraging and professional. Safety was clearly high on the agenda.
It's not a cheap half day but I certainly didn't feel disappointed and really enjoyed my time with Gwynnespeed, so in that respect it was well worth it. Xx. Id definitely recommend this.

I bought the rally experience for my grandsons 18th birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The instructors and staff were very helpful and friendly. An enjoyable experience for all spectators and participants.
