It's a dream that never goes away, we all secretly think that we'd love to have a go in a proper racing car on a real race track, but very few people ever get that opportunity. This is your chance to make those dreams come true, you can drive a genuine single seat Formula Renault racing car around Thruxton, Britain's fastest motor racing circuit. Home of the British Formula 3 championship, Thruxton also plays host to the British Superbike championship, this is a racing circuit with pedigree. For your race day you will receive a welcome, introduction and safety briefing from one of the fully qualified ARDS instructors who will then take you out onto the track in a Porsche Cayman for 2 instructor driven training laps. Then you'll get the chance to get to know the track by driving the Porsche yourself for 3 laps. Confident that you are able to master the challenges that the track holds you will then get to drive a genuine Formula Renault single seat race car around the circuit for 5 laps, this is your chance to show Messrs Moss, Mansell, Hamilton et al just how you could've been one of them. After your drive you'll be given an assessment from one of the highly trained instructors on how you did. To top the day off you will be taken on a high speed passenger lap of the track by one of the professional racing drivers. Finally, as a memento of the day you drove a real racing car you will receive a commemorative certificate.
