Afternoon Tea for Two at a New Forest Hotel 10785323

We went for afternoon tea at beaulieu inn and it was the worst afternoon tea I’ve ever had, sandwiches were stale, no cheese in the cheese and chutney, quiche on the menu online but no quiche given. Only enough cream for 2 scones not 4 and jam poor tasting. Small red velvet cakes given but were cut I half so only really had 1 but no taste to them. Overall awful. Manage was meant to contact me on how to get this voucher credited back but as yet not contact. Only given one star as this in the minimum I can enter

Lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful setting. We ate our afternoon tea looking out on to the New Forest, watching the horses wandering past. Very relaxing and lovely selection of savoury sandwiches and cakes. Scones were served warm with plenty of jam and cream

I looked up the menus for each hotel and decided to use my voucher at Beaulieu Inn. Its a lovely setting in the New Forest. The room we had tea in was nice although most of the tables are sofas with a large coffee table so it was very low down. The food was good, particularly the sandwiches, however what we were served was completely different to the online menu. We were given only fruit scones despite it stating plain and fruit scones on the menu and these were served with whipped cream not clotted cream. A few disappointments overall but a nice enough tea. I am glad I didn't pay full price!

Straightforward accepted with no problem

This was a Christmas gift 2021 waited till late summer so we could enjoy the weather and what a lovely afternoon we had at Bartley Lodge Hotel Cadnam

Visited Forest Lodge Hotel for afternoon tea. The venue was a very typical New Forest hotel, where the staff made us very welcome. Unfortunately the afternoon tea provided fell far short of our expectations, the scones were hard and disintegrated when applying Jan and cream. Our complaint was acted upon and the products were replaced. We were not the only clients in for afternoon tea, the other party had experienced the same disappointment, their complaint was handled in the same manner is our own. On the whole a very disappointing occasion.

Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to satisfy us. The grounds were a little disappointing, but the tea made up for the disappointment
