Very sweet staff serving delicious treats from savoury to sweet and even boxing up the 'left over' goodies to take home. We enjoyed it very much.

This was one of the best afternoon teas that I have been to. The surroundings are lovely and the staff very friendly and attentive. I requested the gluten free and I was not disappointed. It was not as nice as the normal one but I wouldn’t expect it to be. However it was delicious and I really enjoyed it.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Grosvenor as the whole experience was outstanding.

Had a lovely champagne tea at this hotel. Have had the voucher for 3 years, but could not go due to Covid. Extended the date, and eventually managed to book a day. .o rly staff,nothing g too much trouble, tea was scrumpy, lovely cakes and sandwiches.
Really lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Given as a big birthday present, this is one to remember. From the food to the place to the staff, all was perfect. Loved every minute ute of a thoroughly relaxing afternoon and the actual food and drink were amazing. The booking was very simple- just a phone call nade. Handed in my vou her afterbeing seated, and that was that. Wonderful - Thank you.

Some of our requests were ignored even though I booked and confirmed whether they restaurant could do anything as a happy birthday gesture. The service was very slow, we asked for more clotted cream and jam, by the time the jams had finally arrived it was too late and we had eaten our scones. The jubilee afternoon tea was a slight let down with the cakes, a Christmas type of fruit cake was not was we would have wanted for a summer afternoon tea. The mini desserts had melted inside by the time we ready to eat them, these should have been brought out later due to the warm weather. We asked for water on arrival and it arrived 2 hours later after requesting for it again. Overall I've had better for a cheaper afternoon tea, you're just paying for the venue I'm afraid.
