Nice but hidden costs
11 December 2020
Couldn’t book via the buyagift link, had to phone 5 times til I got in touch with someone. It was a birthday present for November but it was closed so had to go in December . Was then informed I had to pay a further £10 per head due to it being December (yet there was 3 empty pods the time we was there) and this was not written anywhere , I was also charged 12.5% surcharge on top of the final cost. Plus tea wasn’t included.

Don't waste your money...
08 December 2020
This was an awful experience. The domes look nice from the outside but the inside is tired and cheap. All there is to sit on is garden furniture and the decor is tacky. The afternoon tea is poor value for money. The sandwiches were stale and the clotted cream was gone off. The champagne (prosecco) was undrinkable . We also had to pay £30 extra as the hotel said the buy a gift voucher no longer covers the whole cost. Every afternoon tea I have had is better than this.

Unique gift idea
13 November 2020
I was bought this as a gift from work. Me and my partner went. It was a lovely day out and the tea and cakes were delicious. The champagne was an added bonus. Loved it! Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great location
12 November 2020
This was a great location for an afternoon tea, loved the pods - being able to see the outside while being toasty warm is great. The venue was challenged as the outside area was the only area open due to COVID19 and therefore there were not many servers. Those who were there were lovely but we did have to wait. Location and staff were best part of the experience as the food is a let down. The scones were dry and a little tough, the sandwiches and cakes were OK. Go for the location but keep expectations lower on the food side.

Amazing
11 November 2020
As we enter into a new way of living this idea of being in your own bubble is perfect. We have our own space, selection of treats was ok but not the best. Staff couldn’t be any more attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Our heating wasn’t working and they easily got us another one which worked fine. Overall experience was lovely, highly recommend

Great day out

My friend and I loved the experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pod was beautiful and when he got dark looked magical with the lights. Food was lovely. Overall a great day out.

Very attentive staff
23 October 2020
I booked this in October as my birthday was during total lock-down. It was a really nice venue with very attentive staff (I don't think that they were very busy even though all the 'pods' were occupied.) We were given a glass of bubbles to start and asked what type of tea we would like. The food was delicious - although my husband ordered more sandwiches for himself as there were only four small fingers of sandwiches each (with the crusts cut off so they were even smaller) - the cakes were scrummy as were the scones with jam and cream. They refilled the tea pot without complaint. We were in the Freddie Mercury pod, and the only downside was the lack of music - but a smart phone solved that!

Afternoon Tea Birthday Treat
16 October 2020
We had a lovely time on a horrible rainy day. The location was very pretty, staff very attentive. The pod itself was decorated very and our the Freddy Mercury theme was quirky, although it would have been nice to have had some ambient music. The selection of sandwiches for vegetarians was extremely poor but great for carnivores!! Overall a good experience but small improvements could be made

Lovely treat
29 September 2020
The afternoon tea was yummy; however, we didn’t get to sit in a dome. When I booked I stated that I had a voucher for the afternoon tea in a dome. When we arrived we were given a table in the secret garden....not a dome. Make sure you check that you get a dome when booking. A big disappointment for us and the person who bought us the gift.
