Overview

Nestled in the quaint village of Dartington in Devon, the Devon Distillery was established in 2013. Known for its production of Grappa, ‘Devoncello’, and gin, it makes for an extraordinary visit. Head to the microdistillery to enjoy an unforgettable 90-minute gin masterclass, in which you’ll learn how to craft your very own gin using a combination of spices, herbs and flowers in the copper stills. Guided by the professional tutors, you’ll learn the art of gin crafting and leave the lesson with your own handmade 35cl labelled bottle of gin! The ultimate present for any gin enthusiast.

Fantastic Experience for Gin Lovers!

I bought this experience for my Dad's 70th birthday (Feb '20) and obviously haven't been able to book it in since Covid. I was finally able to book for 27th June. The venue were easy to deal with re booking and explained everything for being covid secure and procedures on the day. The instructions for location were accurate and it was easy to find. There's plenty of parking too with 2 hrs free parking for guests! The experience itself was well lead, carried out at a good pace and with plenty of nuggets of knowledge thrown in re the Gin making process. It was great to be able to make your own brand of Gin AND create a unique label for it. Plus, as you can write down your own recipe, you can even contact The Gin School to ask them to re-make your personalised batch for you. My Dad absolutely loved it and enjoyed a generous tipple of 'Nash's Nip', as we named ours, that evening. Highly recommend this for a gift to any Gin lover! I would not have found this experience without Buy A Gift. Always top quality experiences and great value for money!

The booking team were extremely helpful arranging this experience with the buyagift voucher. On the day, the set up was lovely, the staff are full of knowledge giving you insights to the world of gin and then tips of how best to make your gin (no on wants a bad tasting gin!). You get taught how to properly taste gin on the day and then take away your finished product which looks lovely, with a self-designed label. I would definitely recommend the experience.
