One of the best Afternoon Teas ever

Sitting overlooking the diverse London skyline with the ever changing River Thames in front of you. Eating the most sumptuous food (especially the superb scones), drinking bottomless pots of delicious tea and sharing it with someone special. This is the epitome of Afternoon Teas. You are made to feel very special. This is one very special gift experience.

This was bought for us as a present while we visiting London. The gentleman replying to my emails was very polite and made the reservation very easy. The Afternoon Tea was lovely. The restaurant has great views overlooking the Thames. We both really enjoyed the food and service given to us.

Just a very nice treat which we both enjoyed. Really liked the Swan, had nice relaxed feel to it. Food was lovely and service was good.

Lovely afternoon tea (at lunchtime). Sandwiches very fresh, scones were soft and not dried. variety of desserts, even took a doggy bag home as couldn't finish it all. Staff very friendly and attentive.

There are more lavish afternoon tea locations in London, this one was average and adequate. The dishes were lovely (shakespeare themed) but the treats were a little unimaginative. Very basic sandwiches, lovely scones, and cakes were nothing special.

I have been to many Afternoon Teas but this is by far up there with the best! It was a easy to book and the service on the day was exceptional. The food was fresh, delivered on exquisite china and with the most attentive staff ever. The Swan Restaurant is located at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and is bright, airy and stylish. I will definitely purchase this gift for friends or relatives and hope they take me as their guest. A must do!
