Lovely Anniversary gift

The afternoon tea was very enjoyable but far too much food. We left two sandwiches and took 6 cakes home! Very attentive staff

Great Idea, but be not the venue

It was great idea but, the venue was really below my expectations. It looks more like a canteen than a restaurant. No music playing and... they serve you Twinnings packets instead of expected loose leaf tea. The table wear looks tied and service is far behind some other nicer venues I've been too. So unfortunately I can not recommend this.

No hassle. The hotel was aware of our booking and our table was ready. Really nice food and attentive service. Our server also asked about allergies which was good.

Very nice comfortable table overlooking the garden and lake and great service. The sandwiches were lovely and the scones and cakes more than we could eat (although they did give us a doggy bag!). Glass of bubbly too.

The venue is beautiful - out of the way and very modern. As for the afternoon tea, well it was simply divine! Huge scones, good variety of sandwiches and the most delicious cakes. We couldn't finish it all even though we really wanted to. Would definitely recommend!

Tasty sandwiches, scones still warm from the oven, tempting cakes, friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant views. Booking was slightly less straightforward than I would have hoped, but we got there in the end.
