Arrived on time at 7pm, was taken to out table right outside the toilet!!. Constant people going in and out. Spoke to manager and requested to move, was moved to a little booth, chose what we wanted off the menu. Shame it took for us to ask a member of staff to order 45 minutes after arriving!! Manager then realised we were given the wrong menu and came back with a basic one, which we werent impressed with after seeing g the full menu and choosing what we wanted. Asked if we could up grade, was told No. Husband wasnt impressed so we ordered from the set menu and asked for one of the meals to be boxed up to take home, and ordered a main for the full menu. Waited a further half a hour for our starters to arrive but only one did apparently the dough balls to longer to make so cant come out together!! Eventually the start of the mains came out 3 portions of chips.....one was meant to be boxed. Eat the chips still waiting for the rest of the main, hubby's arrived but no sign of mine asked where it was and was told it's on it's way. Hubby waited 10 minutes then started eating and finished. Still nothing for me. Mine eventually arrived 20 minutes later I told the manager I wasnt eating it alone now my hubby was finished and to box it up with the rest of the food including puddings as we were leaving. He wasnt bothered at all, didn't apologise for the bad service just bagged the food up and gave us a bill for my husband's food. Refused today for it , manager didn't argue just screwed the receipt up.
Sadly we werent the only unhappy customers that evening, the table behind us left after waiting so long. Lots of people complaining. Totally gutted we had such a terrible experience, my daughter brought this for us to have a lovely meal out, and to enjoy our self instead we left the restaurant really disappointed, hungry, and sad that we were treated so badly by the manager even telling us they don't like doing the offer as it's not worth it!! Our daughter wasted her money.
