Relaxing afternoon tea

An easy booking process followed by a warm welcome by Reigate Manor Hotel's team at the reception area. Afternoon tea was in the hotel lounge with a choice of tea or coffee accompanied by finger sandwiches (smoked salmon and cream cheese; coronation chicken; ham and cheese and tomato and cucumber). Small plain and fruit scones with clotted cream and choice of jams, with moist, gooey cakes to follow. Scones were slightly hard but choice of cakes was delicious. Staff were attentive throughout our visit. Unfortunately, temporary roadworks in Reigate Hill caused minor delays to and from the venue.

Staff were friendly. Food was fresh. We had to ask for milk and jam as it had been forgotten. Don’t believe it was good value for money

This was a birthday afternoon tea for myself and my best friend who lives pretty far from me. This venue was half way for both of us. Nice sandwiches and scones but lacked cakes as they gave a lot of moose instead. Tasted nice but was expecting cakes rather than moose
