What a lovely day out we had! My mum wanted to go for afternoon tea and we found this gem near Angel. The food was delicious & our waiter Cosmin was brilliant! Kept checking on us throughout to make sure we were okay and went above & beyond! My mum has since booked another for a friend's birthday. Highly recommend!

The hotel was easy to find, very modern and spotlessly clean and comfortable. The service was first class. The staff were exceptionally good, nothing was to much trouble and they made you feel very welcome. They just seemed to have the right attitude which is so important.

We arrived early but was shown to a beautiful table and very soon our attentive waiter served us teas; there was a choice of 8 teas and we both had 3 double pots of tea each. Wow we were full up but there was room for delicious finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam plus numerous cakes (chocolate eclairs, macaroons, coffee and walnut cake, almond Bakewell tart and rich genoa cake) plus fresh fruit of redcurrants, strawberries and raspberries. My partner requested some more plain sandwiches and the chef fully catered for this. Our professional waiter,Isaac, from Gran Canaria was very helpful, courteous and had a knack for attention to detail. He definitely made the experience even better.

Having been to many afternoon teas, the location was great, very easy to get to, the sandwiches and desserts were very tasty. Most afternoon teas that I have been to do free top ups (sandwiches) but this one did not so there was addiotional charge which was a little disappointing. But overall a good experience and worth it to go.

We did arrive a little late, the staff were very welcoming. The Sandwiches were a little dry, but well made and good choice. plenty of cakes, we did find it too many for two of us. it was a very enjoyable day none the less.
