Celebration tea

A big disappointment. This was a gift from my son and daughter in law for my 70th birthday. We sat in the conservatory of the Spread Eagle which was a thoroughfare for the spa so guests trooping by our table in dressing gowns and swim west (narrow aisle for pedestrians with our tray of food stuck in the passageway). Once we sat down and ordered our cup of tea and the food was delivered (NOT a mouthwatering selection) nobody appeared again to ask if everything was ok or whether we would like another cup of tea (and we were advised initially we could have as any cups as we liked and my daughter in law said she would want another to the waiter). When we wanted to go I had to find someone to ask for a “doggie bag” - terrible expression - and still nobody asked if we had enjoyed the experience. Not recommended.
