Liked the show but not the prices

We had to change a number of vouchers after not being able to use the ones we were given (as we could not book any date at all) between June and September, so we converted a load of vouchers into this and a meal out.
The tickets that are available for this show are right at the very top of the theatre (as in people were suffering from vertigo attacks!) and, even with an upgrade the seats were still high up.
When we checked the exact same seats on a different booking site, they were significantly more expensive when booking through the buyagift than we could have got direct. This meant that using the vouchers and the upgrade meant that we paid £20-£30 more than if we had booked the exact same seats on the other site. That felt like a bit of a con to me.
The show itself was very good, quite a sad story, but the cast were very good and the actress playing Tina had a fantastic voice.
My wife enjoyed this show much more than I did, and she would go back (not via the buyagift vouchers) but I don't think that I would as I like my stories a little happier!
