Want to learn how to sew? Join a sewing workshop in Brighton and learn how to make either a handy tote bag or a cute cushion to display on your sofa at home! If you already know the ropes, why not take along a simple clothing alteration or get some help on a personal sewing project. On this course you will be taken from the very basics of setting up and threading a sewing machine to making a gorgeous, handmade item. You’ll be provided with a list of materials you will need to bring to the class beforehand, so all you have to do is show up with your materials and join a group of other keen beginners. Enjoy plenty of individual attention from the tutor, make some new friends and learn heaps of tips and tricks to take away.

- Under 13s must attend this class accompanied by a non-paying adult
- You will be using a modern Janome 525S or 725S sewing machine or you may bring your own
- Please arrive 5 minutes early if you are taking your own sewing machine
- Participants will need to bring their own materials. You will be provided with a list before the class
- Class size with be a maximum of five students
- Included is a free last-minute drop-in to a Stitch! General Sewing and Clothes Making Class when there is space on the day
- The drop-in can be used to finish off anything not quite completed in your booked session/s or to start a new project
