As part of the original house, the rosette award-winning Arboreum Restaurant offers a unique and intimate dining experience, with its wealth of beams, the abundance of oak panelling and relaxing views across the ornamental lake. Quite nice

Food was well cooked. Not sure if we had a reduced menu as it was difficult to find a starter that either of us liked or would order. The mains were cooked well and tasty. The wine we had was lovely and the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. I’d looked on line and had chosen what I wanted to eat to find that both options weren’t on the actual menu. Think overall acceptable but slightly disappointing

Lovely venue and great service, myself and my partner were the only diners that evening so we had the entire restaurant room to ourselves which we were very happy with but other people would maybe want more atmosphere.
Food was more fine dining but neither of us were impressed with the standard of food sadly. If we were going out for a nice meal we wouldn't return here.

This was a beautiful setting for a delicious meal. The food was so lovely and I could have eaten everything on the menu. Not only were the staff attentive, they were professional and friendly. Drinks prices very reasonable. We will go again!!! Recommend the duck main and Ham hock starter.

The service was excellent from the start; we were meant to have a 'glass of fizz' with the meal but we were given the bottle to share! The food was delicious and portions plentiful, especially the desserts. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The quality of service and food were excellent. The waiter was very attentive without being OTT. My husband selected beef and I had chicken breast - both were most enjoyable. My only complaint was that the room temperature was slightly cool. Other than that a very good experience.

Hotel in a lovely setting. The restaurant is small and intimate and the food excellent. The menu whilst not extensive has a good variety, each dish with a twist. Served by efficient and pleasant staff.

This was one of the best gift experiences we have had. The hotel is gorgeous. There was a wedding on the same day as our visit (which we had been warned about) but no matter. They gave us our own private dining room and it made our visit very special indeed. It was our wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been any better. Wonderful food, service and ambience. Perfection!
