Disappointing

The afternoon tea gift was something i was looking to do. The booking element was easy to do, and notifying the venue one of the party had a nut allergy was easy to do and the venue replied very quickly to reassure they were aware and able to action. The food was good, the staff very welcoming and helpful, but the portion size was measley at best. We enquired if we could have more sandwiches, but were informed that this would be at an additional cost. My guest and i have been to a number of establishments for a similar experience and this is by far the most disappointing offering we have experienced. So much so, i did not share the offering via photographs to the gift giver, to prevent further disappointment. I am not sure if this offering was restricted due to it being a "voucher" experience, or if this was "standard offering".

Sandwiches were fresh but found gristle in the beef sandwiches, cakes were nice but I have had much better scones, my husband had a beer and a 12.5% service charge was added to the overall bill, I couldn’t find any mention of service charge being added.

Had a great time at this afternoon tea! The food was great and the restaurant is lovely despite being in such a busy part of central London. Would definitely recommend it.

We got this as i gift from a friend and really enjoyed it. All the food tasted great and they took into consideration my husbands allergy to fish. We were checked on multiple times and offered more tea.

Not happy to sit amongst other family diners usually afternoon teas have a separate area wanted for tea and coffee.asked for water given in a glass Luke warm run out of bottles Sandwiches came up before drinksBrow n bread sandwiches were dry obviously been made earlier Scone very dry and split when tried to be cut I have been lucky enough to have afternoon tea for different occasions but I was honestly disappointed with this one
