Pre theatre lunch

First of all, the waitress who served us was excellent, with a very calm polite and 'nothing too much trouble' attitude. However, My wife had Chicken Milanese and had to send it back as the chicken was overcooked. My Pizza was ok and the ice cream dessert was very good indeed. But I give the 3 star rating as I would have expected a higher quality level of food quality from such an establishment.

Nice meal, venue etc but lack of options

Location, venue, customer service, quality of food and drink all 5 star, but only 3-4 options for starters with 1 with extra supplement, mains inc pizza or just 3 options with 1 with extra supplement, and only 2 options for desert ... so brings it down to 3 stars in my eyes.

Staff at the restaurant were great but the choice of dishes on the menu are limited to say the least, 3 main dishes to pick from and one of them required extra cost to have, why put it on the set menu?
Not as hoped for considering this is a famous chefs restaurant, think he would be disappointed to dine here himself.
We did enjoy the meal, lovely location but think the menu needs to be looked at and more options added.

As this was a ‘voucher’ meal I wasn’t surprised by the limited menu, however there were other dishes to choose from at an additional cost, one of which was a steak that this restaurant is known for!!! So why not just include a steak within the price range?!?! The cocktails came after our starter and only after I asked! The food was good and the team are pleasant but for a ‘voucher’ meal why is there a service charge bill????? You can’t get anything for nothing these days despite this being a gift I still had to pay!
