Everything worked on this two night mini break from the check in,great food and helpful staff.The location is stunning,a grand old mansion set in beautiful grounds.
The room (nember 2) was well appointed and had a powerful shower.An extraction fan is on from the kitchen untill around 9.30pm and comes on again at 6.15am so avoid this room (and number1 presumably) if this is an issue.

The hotel is a little off track, but is accessible to many areas and is itself a magnificent looking hotel with fabulous grounds. In many years of travel the staff here are the best we have come across- “absolutely fabulous’??. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent and far better than our visit to the nearby and lauded Stackpole Inn. The only improvement I would suggest is that the studios need upgrading (accept COVID has affected this) but overall a really good getaway hotel with great food and excellent service.

This was given to my wife and I as a Christmas Gift and we combined it with other nights away to make a first visit to this part of Wales. It was a really nice hotel and we made full use of the pool and other leisure facilities. It is within easy driving distance of both Tenby and Pembroke so we also took the opportunity to visit both of these places. Pembroke Castle is especially worth a visit.
