A very enjoyable visit.

We have recently returned from a very enjoyable short break at The Kings Arms. The hotel is in a quiet location with easy access to surrounding attractions. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely and there was a good selection of drinks. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend a visit.

The B&B is a bit dated and our room definitely could have done with an overhaul. We had to get the bed changed and a lightbulb fitted and the shower was on it’s last legs. Could not fault the staff and food though. Get the room sorted and it’s a 5 star

This is a lovely location in a small village. Breakfast was more than enough to start the day. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Will deffinately be returning.

Had an OK stay at the Kings Arms, staff very efficient and helpful, food was also very good but room needs alot of tlc, but was clean. The area is nice but not really the lakes, nearer the pennines, lots of of good walks locally though, overall OK.

Lovely weekend in the lake District

We stayed at The Kings Arms for two nights and it was the perfect base for a walking weekend. Staff were friendly and the food was very good! They made us and our dog feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to explore the Lake District.
