Tank Driving for One with SWB Motorsport

Step into the driver’s seat of an Alvis CVRT Spartan sports tank at Gatwick Aviation Museum and feel the power of tracked armour beneath you. After meeting your instructor for a full safety briefing, head onto a challenging multi-terrain course, climbing hills, splashing through mud and taking on steep bumps. Enjoy around 15–20 minutes of focused driving time as you guide this agile military machine around the circuit.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• This voucher is valid for one person
• Available Friday-Sunday from April-September
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum weight is 18st
• Minimum height is 5'0", maximum height is 6'4"
• A full UK or international manual driving licence must be held for over 12 months and be produced on the day in order to participate
• Participants must be agile enough to climb up and into the driver's seat and have a good understanding of English to receive instruction
• Please wear long trousers and tough shoes
• You will have the option of purchasing a collision damage waiver at £25 additional charge
• This experience is not suitable for those with epilepsy, heart complaints or pregnant people
• You should allow 60 minutes for this experience
