Lovely hotel and surroundings. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Our spa treatments had not been booked however spa staff did accommodate us.

The place was amazing , was looked after from the moment we arrived to departure . Beautiful views and setting . Room was spacious and had everything you need for a comfortable stay

Our treatment and the facilities were great, we enjoyed the 3 course meal however the staff were pretty useless, bringing us the wrong food and drinks on multiple occasions.

Buy a gift were fantastic dealt easily with the problems we had with the first hotel going under and were quick to sort out new hotel. Fabulous customer service!! This hotel is situated in a beautiful area lovely hotel facilities with fantastic food and staff, not so good in the spa extremely hard to book the free spa treatments took 6 attempts trying to phone spa who never replied. Luckily hotel booked it for us. The treatments were lovely in the end with lovely young ladies doing the treatment

Beautiful hotel. Grounds were lovely. Spa great. The two treatments we had were great and the facilities were excellent. I would have given it 5 stars. If it weren’t for the staff at the reception at the spa. Not impressed with the attitude at all. Apart from them the rest of the staff were 5 star!!

Had a wonderful experience with the spa, great space, great treatment, great customer service. Pool and sauna was great too. Happy with my room, great size and amazing views. However, the food let it down. If your a vegetarian don’t book in for dinner as you only get one choice for a starter and one choice for a main and both of them are cheese based meals so hopefully you like cheese. Extra £12 for the steak which was fatty and chewy so not worth it. We had £24 left to pay but they over charged us at the bar so not happy with that. Breakfast was average, its buffet style so some of my food was warm and some cold. When asked where the breakfast plates are was rudely told ‘at the front’. For anyone going they are hidden under a tray lid which isn't signed so you wouldn’t know you are allowed to touch. I would stay again but i would go elsewhere for my food.

Although the communication of trying to book is a nightmare (no one answers the phone, and you have to book the spa separately) the facilities are brilliant. However they are clearly understaffed and are struggling. We had to change our room 3 times as they were not satisfactory... One of the reasons is that the room was already occupied. So not great really. All our issues were raised to the manager

An amazing experience felt thoroughly spoilt, pampered and relaxed didn't want to come back to the real world! Would recommend and would definitely return. Very clean, very polite, kind and helpful staff. Food was wonderful and HUGE portions. Beautiful scenery.

All round excellent experience. I had an amazing full body massage by a lovely therapist, we were set in beautiful grounds, had a nice dinner (but not great choice for vegetarians) , delicious and plentiful buffet breakfast and we enjoyed the spa facilities but this is the area the hotel lacks. The spa could really do with an update and upgrade as it’s very basic. We would like to see more choice in spa facilities and even just to have a water machine next to the sauna and steam room rather than all the way back in the changing rooms would make a huge difference to the overall spa experience. Otherwise the service in the restaurant was excellent and the hotel communal areas are very impressive. Also would like the option to order cocktails with our evening meal. There was a huge bar just outside of the dining area and the waitress said it was their most asked question so why are they not offering cocktails with evening meals? I personally don’t like wine but I enjoy a cocktail with my meal when I go out and I’m sure lots of other young people feel the same!
