Hotel staff very helpful and room very clean and spacious. Spa experience was ok. Because it is open to the public had a few children messing around in the pool. Breakfast was ok. No real vegetarian or vegan options.

Nice hotel had spacious room clean but a bit tired decor. On arrival receptionist made clear we couldn’t check in until 3pm she wasn’t particularly welcoming. We had booked treatments for later in the day and asked about using the fitness club whilst waiting for check in. Fitness club was in a separate building next door. Received a very nice welcome at the centre which has a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and very well equipped gym. Enjoyed using the facilities. Changing facilities ok limited single changing. You require a £ coin to use the lockers. We had a lunch at the hotel which was really good. We also had dinner at the hotel which was excellent. Breakfast also really good. The treatments were also good. My daughter had a pregnancy pamper and I had a back massage and manicure. The massage was lovely but the manicure was a little disappointing as finish not perfect. All in all we had a lovely time. If you want a really relaxing break this is not the place as a busy hotel and fitness club is used by lots of regulars. The title of the gift is a little misleading as says a Spa break but be aware the cost of treatments are not included.

I have been to MOG's 3 times previously and find it very good value... The grounds are nice, the pool and gym are basic but good enough for a little break. I've had dinner here before which is quite posh and breakfast is excellent. Paper delivery to your room is always a nice touch. Thoroughly recommend this experience

Had a lovely stay here, staff were very friendly, food was very good although service was a bit slow due to Valentine's. Definitely worth a visit

We stayed at The Manor of Groves hotel, Sawbridgeworth and the hotel was lovely. Really lovely grounds as you drive up, the hotel itself is surrounded by a large golf course. We had a super time using the facilities at the health club which included a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and spa. We also booked in for neck, back and shoulder massages- very relaxing! We had lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent, although a little pricey as you might expect for a hotel. The room was large, clean and had a quirky layout. The bed was comfy. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. The only improvement needed was on the service provided by some of the waiters, but this bu no means spoiled the break. A thoroughly lovely time had by all. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
